Our thoughts are shaped like never before by complex issues such as climate change and fear of the future. While we understand the urgency of these issues, most of the time we, as individuals, can only take very limited action. There are also personal worries, emerging radicalism and fascism. Millions of people are fleeing war and conflict. In short, countless problems are shaking our world right now. It seems as if an old-fashioned feeling were booming: melancholy and world pain.
