The Resort 2015 collection of NUBU evokes the tones of Japanese hand painted tea cups. The various colors amalgamate like brush strokes on the ikat-like colorful fabrics. However, the main tones of the collection are nude, beige, black and white. The garments and bags are adorned with small plates made of walnut wood, and the veins are in harmony with the texture and pattern of the fabrics. In the collection, natural fabrics like linen, silk, raffia and leather are mixed with the designers’ favorite waterproof fabrics.
