This collection was inspired by women during Wartime Britain in the 1940s. Leaving the home, stepping forward and taking men's roles such working in munition factories and flying aircraft whist their husbands and brothers were away at war. I wanted portray that even though they were in workwear and had taken the role of a man, their femininity was maintained and was not lost.
