The original idea for this collection was to make a shopper bag from the used bags, which I could use numerous times, because usually plastic bags are used for an average of only 25 minutes but take up to 500 years to decompose and my idea was to stop using new plastic bags and reshaped old ones in something interesting and durable. When I found old plastic bags in my house I relised that that could be an unusual and sustainable material to work with. Therefore I started recycling at home by melting those plastic bags and shaping them into bags of various sizes.
