Therefore Line No.7 collection problematizes the negative impacts of urbanization in Japan and the globalization of the traditional Japanese clothing item - kimono. It also follows the history of kimono and how it changes. The history of the kimono is explored and there is a constant emphasis on the collar - eri and fold - okumi, which are modified in the collection.
