The 15/16 autumn-winter MEI KAWA collection called Director’s Cut revives the 90’s confection clothing with striking material choices and skillful tailoring. The collapse of the socialist regime in Hungary was followed by a new department store boom. The Director’s Cut collection evokes the materials available at that time with a twist: corduroy with elastic capabilities and pinstripe suit textile with golden thread are the fine quality, experimental variations of those dating back to the 90’s.
