The concept of "coexistence" collection was inspired by the form of cohabitation existing amongst birds and humans specific to the city of Milan. Drawing upon the fact that these winged animals live with us day and night sharing many common spaces such as the streets, sidewalks, balconies, window sills, roof tops, antennas and electrical wires etc,. However it seems, despite their constant presence in our lives we choose particular spaces and build different forms of barriers to control and limit this coexistence; screens, wires, cages and fences to name a few.
