11:1 explores the issue of modern day Surveillance and how it effects the public domain. The main Silhouette was inspired by the work on surveillance by the artists Ai Weiwei and William Betts, in conjunction with footage taken of people trying to cover their identity/ protect privacy when having video/ photographs taken of them.
