'The Remnants' is inspired by the most important marine plankton microfossils. These fossils have an outer layer or shell which grows and protects the life existing inside the cavity. The collection mainly revolves around this concept.

Since they are marine microorganisms they are soft, transparent and layered. This is attained by using fabrics like chiffons and jerseys in pastel colors. These microorganisms also have a stronger, more protective aspect that of the shell which is attained with raw silk, suede and opaque rayon/polyester fabrics in darker shades.
