JOHLAUN's autumn winter 2016 collection “The Seven Sleepers” is loosely based on story which during the persecutions by the Roman emperor Decius, around 250 AD, seven young men were accused of following Christianity. They retire to a mountain cave to pray, where they fell asleep for a hundred years. A dog who accompanied the youths into the cave also fell asleep, but looking like keeping watch at the entrance.
