As an artist, Lola retains her birth name given to her by her late father. In her music, Lola draws on emotion in tension in a visceral and exploratory manner. Visual imagery is a highly important accompaniment to Lola's sound in manifestation: fashion and sonics inform each other, pulling influence from designers such as Alexander McQueen and the performative aspects of drag.

Her third single ‘Divine Feminine’ is released 2 December 2022. The cover artwork features a custom garment & styling by designer Jenny Ruan, a frequent interdisciplinary collaborator.
