Collection#1 - Yukkuri is Jan-Jan Van Essche, graduated in 2003, his first collection. A collection inspired on the Malinese culture, music and lifestyle. Floating volumes, light weight fabrics and materials are used in combination with braiding and weaving technics creating an at ease comfortable feeling. From long sleeved t-shirts and molton sweats to soft alpaca woolen knits and coated cottons. All pieces are numbered and made in small series. Available @ ATELIER SOLARSHOP in Antwerp, Belgium.
