Womenswear collection inspired by the armor of insects as well as the modesty of the Middle Ages. I wanted to create a silhouette that was bot modern and ancient at the same time. For my prints I took inspiration from nature using the markings on beetles and illustrations of beetles. In soft hues of grey and pink, I used a combination of warm and light fabrics as well as sequins that ad versatility to any wardrobe. The craft technique I explored in this collection is Mola applique which is a hand-sewn method applique with origins in South America.
