This collection was inspired by 'mothers and daughters'. Many of the samples are actual illustrations of mothers and daughters embracing in hugs or figures. Other textile samples are inspired from the clothing my own mother made for me as a child. This collection was also inspired by what mothers keep from their children i.e. first lock of hair (this is portrayed through long beading and fringes of threads), teeth and clothing.
