inspired by challenging my fear of spiders i generated a "spider web" mesh in rhino. working further with grasshopper allowed me to transform it into a versatile surface which can be adjusted easily. a 3d printed bio filament was used as a base layer for the crystallisation of sugar and salt. the chemical process required an hourly application of the solution which leaves bare crystals after getting sun-dried on the mesh
