Hailed as “one of London’s most exciting new designers” (www.thecutlondon.com, June 2011), Texan-born Melosi launched her directional debut collection with //SHATTERED fragments//. It crystallised from an exploration into contemporary body modification practices and Performance Art, culminating in the creation of jewellery from broken glass fragments. While technically wearable, her glass shard jewellery is not for the faint-hearted, so she sought to alchemise a luxurious collection in precious metal inspired by broken glass fragments.
