In El Alto, Bolivia, there’s a group of Bolivian indigenous women that do wrestling but also climbing, golf and handball in traditional Pollera skirt. They are called Cholitas and were flout and abuse for long time until sports has become their social level redemption.
Their energy is in some ways similar to the mountain climbers.
The silhouette came from the movement of the Pollera skirt during a wrestling match and the backpack used by alpinist.
Adrenaline and struggle are expressed through coulisse and elastics and a sense of peace is given from the nature print.
