The Fall/ Winter 15 collection is the most expressive so far. Each collection is cathartic on some level and inspirations are paths to creating a complete atmosphere. Initially, designing a collection is intuitive and getting to that hidden place is imperative. We wanted Fall to look dramatic and be purposeful; each piece is something essential to a fall wardrobe. As I was sketching, Ennio Morricone’s film scores and David Bowie’s Station to Station & Low were on heavy rotation. I found myself looking at German Expressionist Art and Richard Avedon photos.
