Influenced by a darker, luxury aesthetic, 1920s lingerie and photographers such as Nan Goldin and Katastrofffe, Nicola's graduate collection 'Implicit Demand for Truth' is a collection inspired by a personal narrative. Born from nostalgia and regret for things left unsaid, feelings never shared and relationships that never quite made it. Taking a minimalistic yet experimental approach to a conceptual theme with a focus on reclaimed and repurposed leathers, reclaimed silks and hand crafted elements.
