His style recalls concepts from his industrial design background, and his designs have introduced different materials to fashion design. Chia deconstructed the craft aesthetics he learnt from Italy and incorporates them in his design. Almost all of his designs can be worn in multiple ways. You can wear them inside out or just bottom them differently to breathe new air into the same piece.
