Medusa ~ The ancient Gorgon monstress, winged with snakes for hair, takes vengeance on male intruders by petrifying them to stone eternally. The name of this feminist icon translates to “protectress”.

Within our work, the Medusa symbolizes, that women must not be victim blamed and rather celebrated for their indestructibility.
