The process began by observing architecture in NYC, which then lead to line drawings that were used to inform garment construction, draping and graphic prints.

The tribal paintings represent pride and showmanship, qualities that resembled the meticulous displays of New York News stands. These similarities formed the basis for my color, textile and graphic exploration.
