The collection is inspired by the outlines of the matryoshka and lacquer painting of Russian wood art. The models are divided in black capes and colourful undergarments. The capes coat the body like mother's protective care. The patterns and the deliberate seams are based on the silhouette of matryoshka. The wool felt is embellished with a traditional lasered pattern and fringes. Through modern techniques traditional elements of the Russian folklore are included. The simple kimono patterned dresses are made of coloured satin.
