This collection is inspired by crystal caves. I was fascinated by the crystals and how they naturally grew. I took a visit to a cave and realized that so much of the beauty was removed by this outside force, the tourists. This collection plays with that dynamic. I was so intrigued by the disruption that we as visitors created to the cave in its natural form. I created this collection in that way. I wanted to juxtapose the crystal with the Lucite, artificial vs natural.
