Tekla Evelina Severin’s perspective and take on Scandinavian design through the use of colour is something that just jumps out to me despite of always being inclined to a monochromatic colour palette. Seeing objects not as they are and photographing them from a new perspective.
When I look at her photographs all I see is geometric lines, interesting angles, architecture and play of light and shadows. I feel there is also an underlying calming sense of symmetry and repetition along with a shift in the way we see things around us and the collection seems to reflect exactly that.
