We took a walk to Senate square and the Esplanade and got inspired by the colours of classical architecture in Helsinki. The attitude is contemporary and relaxed, yet cool and sophisticated, like Helsinki. FRENN Autumn-Winter 2016 is full of softness, layers against the cool autumn and cold winter. Darker colours ground the collection: granite greys, cool blues from the Baltic Sea, the cold black of the dark north. Mix them with snow white, tree bark, and neutrals.
