The Last bite

This collection draws inspiration from a larger theme of human greed and decadence, as
visualized through the capture and preparation of endangered ortolans as meal.
The Tradition of capturing and force feeding the tiny birds before drowning them in brandy and
roasting them whole, to be consumed under the veil of a napkin, is a disturbing and poignant
symbol of the destruction of human greed.
