Ange Déchu is based on this general concept of darkness. Not as in subjects that are creepy or evil, but darkness in a way that can be even more terrifying - pain, inner demons, struggle, and evil that lies within all of humanity. For this collection I wanted to take a deeper look into that darkness - something that most choose to avoid, much less embrace. I personally feel that society as a whole tends to ignore the things that aren't "pretty". Most of us don't like to broach painful topics or experiences.
