The concept of the KIKIMRA clothing collection mirrors the beauty that resides in the imperfection of reality. It is inspired by the bleak image of New York during the 1970's - 1980's, reflected in the photographs of German artist Miron Zownir. Years characterised by overwhelming sexual and creative energy, vain protests by artists and nonconformist performers; lack of hope on Bowery; the gloomy world of nightlife. Giving it a more mysterious dimension, the collection is made in variations of black and white.
