The inspiration for the collection came from portraits of Marchesa Luisa Casati and Daphne Guinness. Two aristocratic women born one hundred years apart, Marchesa represents an ultra-feminine look with a hint of drama while Guinness exemplifies a modern interpretation of Marchesa’s aesthetics as the former’s masculine opposite. But both women share the same spirit, a fierce independence and love for art and fashion as a mean of self-expression.
