Fashion entrepreneur, Poonam Bajaj grew up in Delhi. After getting a degree in business management, Poonam decided to follow her passion and went on to study fashion styling at London College of Fashion. She has a great passion for design and takes great pride in her varied style and unique functional design that rise above being merely fashionable.
She runs her own designer label The Citrine. Launched in 2006, ‘The Citrine’ combines Indian sensibilities and crafts with western silhouettes. Traditional Indian textiles and embroideries are seamlessly fused with westerns shapes to create unique pieces that are the hallmark of modern design. Poonam has envisaged a line of apparel that uses indigenous fabrics like chikankari, Bhagalpuri silks and environmentally sustainable organic cotton.
Poonam has styled various fashion shoots for magazines & portals and undertaken trousseau planning projects.

The Citrine's new Spring-Summer 13 collection includes the chic and classy outfits. Our collection captures the feel of vivacious spring with a range of silhouettes that are in vogue with an edge. The collection showcases flowy georgettes and chiffons along with the fall of drapes and pleates. Detailing with embroidered floral appliques and stone encrusted motifs adds a dash of glamour to each piece. We have used a mix of soft colors like: beige, pink, shades of orange and yellow and neon colors . Neon colors are really in this season.

Offering elegant and stylish looks, our SS13 collection unites together the essence of cheerful spring and lazy summer.
