RECLAMATION

RECLAMATION is a sustainable, seasonless womenswear collection that represents the power in rebuilding yourself from trauma. For me, that was sexual assault. My collection deconstructs my healing journey, and highlights the power in questioning, "how do we grow from trauma?"
The use of upcycled denim and deconstruct to reconstruct techniques represent rebirth, and gives new life and meaning to the broken, discarded, and unwanted pieces. By abstracting the original context of the upcycled materials, this collection explores, elevates, and reimagines wardrobe staples, to create truly authentic and expressive garments. These pieces can easily be mixed and matched season after season to help elevate capsule wardrobes.
