Young Serbian designer Bojana Jovanovic was born in 1988. After finishing high school in textile design she continues her education at France College of fashion design, Mod'Art International , where she graduates in June 2010. Her graduation work “Moving Sculpture” was presented at Belgrade Fashion Week in October 2010, and later on exhibited at the French cultural center.
Inspired by the most varied of forms, Bojana is building her own style which is reflected in constant experiments and an eccentric approach to design.
Her first independent display was in Spring 2011, where her perfomance “Haze” was part of the Fashion Vignettes at Belgrade Fashion Week 2011.
She wishes to repersent her work in a variety of ways and has therefore organized several exhibitions of fashion illustrations. The most prominent exhibitions were the Milena Pavloc Barili’s centennial in Belgrade City Hall, and “Zubun” fashion sketches inspired by Serbian folklore, at the Museum of Ethnography.
Bojana's first independent fashion show “Translucent” was at the Dutch Fashion week Fashionclash Maastricht in June 2011.
