BODICE

Bodice believes in the expression of individuality through the way we dress and aims to make garments for people who are bold and confident enough to practice this philosophy. We take inspiration from menswear clothing, history along with other influences that surround us and translate them into androgynous garments with quixotic elements.

Bodice garments are hand crafted and made in India with utmost attention to tailoring and finishing techniques. We add value to local materials and skills in order to make them global and contemporary.

Bodice is the brainchild of designer Ruchika Sachdeva who is a graduate from The London College of Fashion. She has been fortunate to train under renowned fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon and Nitin Bal Chauhan, closer to home. In order to inch closer to her vision she has opened a Bodice ‘studio-shop’ in Hauz Khas Village that also provides bespoke services.
