BARBARA PALA

Born in Sardinia in 1982 she moved in Milan at the age of 20.
In 2002 she attended the Istituto Marangoni where she achieved her degree in Fashion Design in 2006. Her education continued when in 2009 she attended Domus Academy in Milan, thanks to a scholarship with Elle for the Master course in Fashion Design, which she graduated at the highest level, Distinction.
In the same year she runs her own laboratory where she produces made-to-measure garments, repairs, restyling of vintage clothes, creative advices and her own line. Fashion, Design and Handicraft begin one thing, the heart of the Lab.
Barbara’s ideal method of work is freelance collaborations.
She is a Fashion Designer, but she doesn’t like to call her just a Fashion Designer because she is involved at many other sectors besides the fashion system. She looks at the world with curiosity, she accepts the past and she plays with it she has the strong conviction that everything and any topic can be treated with the right amount of lightness.
