Ayanah

We are three sisters and stylists who created AYANAH, a swimwear brand inspired by Africa. As French of African descents, the diversity of our cultural heritage is an invaluable resource that we exploit and share through our creations. Providing creative, new and high quality pieces is essential to us. We want our brand to reflect an innovative and dynamic Africa.

Art is at the heart of our creative process, we draw our inspiration from the dynamic african contemporary art scene. We are also committed to value emerging african artists through occasional collaborations and to offer financial support to african cultural organizations. Our desire is to be the vehicle by which our customers will experience Africa as we know it. We want to showcase the wonderfull diversity of the continent's cultural wealth.

We create for the modern woman, eager to assert her personality and singularity through a trendy and original style. Our brand is also attached to environmental protection and to ethical values such as sharing and solidarity.

We imagine and design all our swimsuits. We also create our own prints. This exclusivity ensures our customers they will not find them anywhere else. Patterns and textile printing are made in France. We endeavoured to establish the production on the African continent. We chose Tunisia because of the quality of its expertise in bathing suits confection. We work with a small workshop in the town of Monastir.

As designers, we take into consideration sustainable development in the use of natural resources to design our collections. In all our decisions making process, we are dedicated to protect the environment in order to be a real player in the green fashion industry. We strive to conduct our business with respect for the planet and to work with partners environmentally conscious. For our dying process, we chose sublimation. This eco-friendly method allows the use of odorless and solvent-free inks.
