Hello, my name is Albert Whitaker Williams and I am an industrial designer turned self-taught fashion student. I discovered my love for fashion at the crossroads between function and aesthetics when I chose to design a jacket for skateboarding at night. At first, I assumed that designing clothes for skaters (My People) would be as good as it gets. However, I've come to realize that so much more could be said through clothing than this. While I appreciate functionality in a garment, I'm simultaneously driven wild by the possibility of sculptural details in seemingly casual silhouettes, and comforted by the unconventional.
