Astha garg

Astha Garg is a 19 year old designer who started interning backstage at the age of 13 at fashion weeks in India. She grew up in a small city called Dehradun living with her joint family. Having inherited the beliefs, values and life from her grandparents, parents and sister Astha Garg always brings her designs back home. Her family has been a huge supporter of her career from day one, all of there values and teachings reflect in her designs from the concepts, emotions, depth to even an ode to rich culture and heritage of India through embroidery and fabrics.

She makes clothes that don’t just subscribe to the sense of fashion but are elevated to become pieces of art. The vision of the brand from the start has been to move people, to affect people emotionally. The brand always works to put out its designs as an abstract art piece which differs from each angle and everyone feels something different when they look at my piece. The designer visualises all the people looking at her piece like everyone in different parts of the world, from different backgrounds looks at the moon like it is the only thing that is relatable and crosses all borders in terms of language and communication.
