The role of the QUINTESSENCE collection is to emphasise, since from the title, the concept of utility and necessity; in the most common meaning, the word "quintessence" represents the essential particularity of a reality. The textiles and materials chosen have the role of protecting the environment and supporting the concept of recycling and reuse. Natural fibres such as the 100% cotton gabardine by Clerici Tessuto, the sustainable denim by Berto Industria Tessile with a composition of 98% cotton, and synthetic fibres such as the jersey-lycra by Fulgar with a composition of recycled polyester and polyamide fibres, as well as the Padding fabric by Thermore, which has 50% recycled fibres from recycled plastic bottles in its composition.
The all over prints are inspired by the lines that define the continents and countries of the planet, the boundary lines that determine the depths of the oceans, but also by the irregular lines of our fingerprints that make us aware that every fingerprint we leave on this environment counts, and every gesture we make can lead to a change for the better or for the worse world, the decision lies solely in our actions.
