ANJA Maticic

Anja Maticic is a fashion and textile designer from Slovenia. She is based in Paris where she works creating collections inspired by the feelings of home, sensibility and print experimentations. Lately she is strongly inspired by art, Parisian arhitecture and surroundings.

She did her master studies at Faculty of natural science and engineering (University of Ljubljana) and part studyes at AALTO university (Finland) Where she focused on studying textile and pattern design. Her bachelor thesis done at faculty of design (slovenia) was focused on sustaniability and zero waste design, which are still the aspects she likes to incomporate in her own collections. She is adaptable, sensible and loves the challenges of designing in different fields.

During her carrer she worked and lived in Ljubljana, Helsinki, Madrid and Paris. Currently she is graphic designer for french brand of bags. She is responsable for designing their collection of scarfs, surface patterns and other graphic elements. She is always in search of new projects and working on her own designs at the same time.
