KATRIN KULDMA

EDUCATION
• Katrin Kuldma is graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts Fashion Design Department. She continued her education in Rhode Island School of Design, USA.
• Katrin Kuldma has also studied Interior Design in Estonian Academy of Arts and Business Administration at Estonian Business School.

CAREER
• In 1993 Katrin Kuldma Fashion Studio was established. The creative career in ready-to-wear industry and Haute Couture field had started.

• 1995 - 1997 Katrin Kuldma was a part time designer for Tallinn Fashion House.
• 1996 - 1998 Katrin Kuldma was the stylist for the Baltic Fashion Fair trend shows.
• 1998 an outstanding fashion performance took place in St. Nicholas church in musical co-operation with Saxappeal Band. The unique Haute Couture collection was received with great warmth.
• 1999 Katrin Kuldma Fashion Studio collection was presented at Stockholm Fashion Fair.
• 1999 - 2002 Katrin Kuldma was consulting Sangar Ltd. collections designing and repositioning of the brand.
• 2000 Katrin Kuldma Fashion Studio presented its spring-summer collection in the Estonia Concert Hall together with Valentin Yudashkin collection.
• 2002 Katrin Kuldma Fashion Studio collection was awarded second prize at the international Pret-a-Porter competition in Riga.
• 1999 – 2002 Katrin Kuldma designed outfits for the First Lady of Estonia Helle Meri for all official receptions and visits.
• 2002 Katrin Kuldma won the competition for Eurovision costume designs and prepared the outfits for the presenters Anneli Peebo and Marko Matvere for the grand night..
• 2002 unique Haute Couture collection “Fire” was presented and staged in collaboration with the creative team members of Eurovision staging – Marius Bratten, Ain Nurmela - and of course again in musical co-operation with Saxappeal Band.
• 2002 Katrin Kuldma was invited to work as the Creative Director of PTA Group, she closed down the Fashion Studio.
• 2003 Katrin Kuldma and fashion photographer Olga Makina celebrated their collaboration of seven years with photo exhibition in Estonian Design Gallery.

• 2006 was published the book „About Style“ by Katrin Kuldma and fashion photographer Olga Makina.
• Katrin Kuldma was prized with the Estonian fashion award „Golden Needle“ as the most influential designer of the year 2006.

• In April 2006 Katrin Kuldma left PTA Group and established on the base of former Fashion Studio the new concept company, renamed Amanjeda Group Llc in 2010.
• In 2008 the brand Amanjeda applied for the registration in EU, in 2010 Amanjeda became a registered label in European Union. In December 2010 was the launch the first Amanjeda collection.
