Born and raised in Nelson New Zealand, Ally then moved straight from school to Wellington to start University at Massey. After completing a diploma in fashion Ally then moved on to study a bachelor of design with a joint major in Fashion and Business.
Ally has always loved bridal wear and this is where her passion is, she wants to work in the couture bridal industry. She designs for the 20-35 years old woman, who loves quality and something different. Her graduate collection at Massey really showcased and inspired this.

Latest Collection

STAGE

STAGE is an avant-garde/bridal collection. The concept is driven from Swan Lake with strong ballet references. The physical nature and characteristics of a swan has also inspired this collection. Made up of four gowns plus lingerie, Ally wanted to create an innovative collection, which used new materials and technology she had not worked with before. The laser cutting is the main element and stand out feature in the collection. Ally also wanted to use subtle elements from Swan Lake to compliment other elements to create a sophisticated, elegant and innovative collection. The colour pallet is driven from bridal wear and the restrictive nature of using one colour meant that texture and depth in layers became an important part of the design.The skirt sections are made to move gracefully down the runway, and when worn the swan element becomes alive.
