Allison Martell

Allison Martell is a fashion designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Chicago and raised in Lancaster, PA, she is a recent graduate of Pratt Institute with a BA in Fashion Design. She has additional experience in hand/machine/programming knitwear, crochet, millinery, print design, hand sketching, and technical design. She began studying fine art with a focus on drawing and painting at a young age and gained an interest in fashion when taught how to sew. Martell's family, as well as her home in Lancaster has always been a huge inspiration, drawing from nostalgic and personal experiences throughout her designs. When designing, comfort and fluid movement are key elements, as well as unique color combinations, small details, and the unexpected.
