The menswear brand from Brasilia, Akihito Hira, was launched in 2008 during central-western Brazil's Capital Fashion Week, its biggest fashion event through the New Talents competition.

Since its initial launch during the Capital Fashion Week, the Akihito Hira brand has been in the hands of designers Akihito Hira and Julio Andrade and has become known throughout the country for its men's collections imprinted with elegance and sophistication.

The Akihito Hira menswear has already been shown five times at Capital Fashion Week and also been shown three times at Rio Fashion Hype which is an event for new talent and occurs during Brazil's biggest fashion event of Fashion Rio.

Because of its success in Brazil, the Akihito Hira menswear has been invited to participate in one of the world's biggest fashion events in New York City. Also, Akihito Hira is the newest member of ABEST or The Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers.

The Akihito Hira brand has designed collections for men which are irreverent and go against convention. It can be identified by its strong tailoring, deconstruction of the classical lines and its avant-garde pieces with a strong appeal to aesthetics in the details and finishing of each piece.

As a wise man laid in a garden, he thought about the cleverness of insects that camouflage themselves into grayish leaves even with spots and blemishes. This rich lie confounded the wise man while it envisioned rich Brazilian fauna. The silent mimicry revealed prudent pretenses.
