In summer 2011 Julia Greiner and Reto Crameri graduated at Berlin fashionschool Esmod. After three years abroad, the two returned to Switzerland where they joined together to found the label ACLA. ACLA represents high-quality ready-to-wear fashion, with
traditional and modern elements set apart. ACLA is working closely with Ruth Bühlmann, which for years is Instructor for course leaders in contemporary lace at the VSS and the German Association of lace. With Mrs. Bühlmann’s help it was possible to recreate the old laceart in the collection and interpret it in a new way.
