Based in Barcelona, 17*14 produces quality leather footwear for everyday life. Our shoes and sneakers are made of Calfskin leather lined with 100% organic cotton and rubber sole from Flexiflex (light and durable). All our products undergo a process of ocular verification to ensure each piece’s quality.

Created by young professionals with different backgrounds 17*14 is engaged with corporate social responsibility initiatives. Parts of the company’s profits are used -in different foundations- for the promotion of Catalan culture on one hand and projects of socio-laboral insertion on another hand. We also choose to be certified according to strict environmental criteria, in order to ensure a positive environmental balance.

The name of the brand and the first collection are an homage to the fall on Barcelona that took place in 1714 and meant the loss of Catalonia’s sovereignty during the War of Spanish Succession. 300 years later a broad social grassroots movement and the Catalan Parliament have initiated a process to enable its citizens to vote on their political will. We sympathize with this movement because we believe in a better society and that engaged companies are essential.
