SOLLIS Jewellery is one of the most exciting Australian accessory brands to emerge in recent years. Launched in 2011, SOLLIS has gone from strength to strength. The brand has quickly become synonymous with unique, ahead-of-the-curve accessories and exquisite craftsmanship, evident in their immaculate hand-crafted jewellery collections.

“We don’t set out to be run-of-the-mill, we create amazing statement jewellery; opulent pieces with a high-fashion appeal that will make you stand out from the crowd”.

Designed by Eleanor Ford, the ethos behind SOLLIS is the exploration of the relationship between craft and fashion. Traditional techniques are employed to form contemporary fashion pieces, which reflect modern trends, while also conveying a timeless classicism. Eleanor deftly blends patterns and textures to give her jewellery a tactile and touchable quality. Her dedication to craft comes from a love for the creative process; each piece is beautifully and painstakingly handmade in the Sydney studio.

“I constantly challenge myself to learn new craft techniques. Taking a spark of an idea and a new technique, I often design jewellery in a hands on fashion, allowing a concept to develop through the making process itself.”

After studying BA Jewellery Design at Middlesex University followed by a MA in Textiles at Goldsmiths College, Eleanor began work for the widely creative Erickson Beamon in London. Since then she has also worked for Kirt Holmes and has designed many collections for Swarovski in Paris. After relocating to Sydney in 2009 she has completed design projects for Gorman, Megan Park and Sophie Kyron.
