Multifarious options of wearing every piece, extraordinary fabrics and very special colour, combinations twist supposedly simple cuts and achieve a glamorous, extravagant or even ironic context, perfectly positioned between soberness and exuberance.
Thus Pitour delivers once more a snapshot of the zeitgeist, perfectly positioned between business and leisure. The label produces clothing and accessories as well as jewelry, carefully handcrafted in Austria.
Maria Oberfrank founded her label during her studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where she graduated under Helmut Lang. After her studies she worked as designer in Brazil and Germany.
The label Pitour is available in Maria Oberfrank´s shop & showroom Combinat, Q21 in the Museum Quartier Wien, which she founded in 2005 and worth a visit simply because of its special historical yet modern atmosphere - showcasing fashion combinined with art-exhibitions as a gallery - inviting customers and art lovers.
She founded MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK in 2009 with her partners Elvyra Geyer and Zigi Mueller-Matyas. Other projects, such as initiator of `Summer of Fashion´ in 2012 at the MuseumsQuartier Vienna bear her signature.
