PETR IAKOVLEFF

I was born in a small village located in the coldest point of the world - the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). My interest in art arose in my childhood years. My first doll was bought by my mother when I was 9 years old, and from that moment on, I began to sew dresses for her - accumulating a considerable amount. At the age of 12, I enrolled in an art school, which I graduated from with honors, and continued my education at the Institute of Modern Art.

From the age of 14, I actively participated in competitions for young designers, always winning first places and even the Grand Prix. Once I was lucky enough to receive an award at an International competition, which included an internship at a French fashion house. This internship, which took place in the city of Cannes on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, brought me not only valuable experience but also second place in the fashion designer competition. After this success, I gained recognition in my homeland. I founded a modeling agency, which will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary. I organized beauty contests and became a regional representative in my hometown. Then I opened a clothing store and studied commerce from the retail side.

Later, I moved to Moscow and launched my first own clothing brand. For its development, I went to Istanbul in search of new fabrics, technologies, and production methods. Now, I am actively working on developing my brand.

Since childhood, I have been passionate about sewing and creating new models, so I had many clients with different wishes. Thanks to this, my work experience covers various stylistic approaches. However, my special love is creating oversized clothing and experimenting with unisex fashion. I also prefer to add new forms, inspired by trends of past years, to create elegant, feminine, and sometimes romantic looks for women. This allows me to create new, individualized images for my clients.
