Min-Hsuan Weng is a French born Taiwanese Womanswear Designer based in Paris. Growing up between Taiwan and France has deeply affected her work. Embracing her bicultural identity, her designs are constantly questioning her rich yet complex heritage. Inspiration comes from her surroundings, family, childhood memories, exhibitions and music.
After a first Master degree in Fashion Design from the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, she worked for a year as an Assistant Designer at Anne Valérie Hash.
Wanting to learn more about knitting techniques, she moved to London and started working and designing on Dubied and Shima machines. She graduated with an MA in Fashion Womenswear Knitwear in 2015 from the Royal College of Art.
Her work has been exhibited at Spinexpo Shanghai and New York as winner of the Cashmere Boutique, and also at Pitti Filati in Florence as one of the Finalist of Feel the Yarn contest.
